Alan Stratton

Alan Stratton, a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant, is an independent consultant specializing in cost and performance management. He is an active participant in Consortium for Advanced Management International (CAM-I) and has served on the Board of Directors. He currently chairs CAM-I’s Planning and Budgeting interest Group. He is the author of An ABB Manager’s Primer and a co-author of An ABC Manager’s Primer as well as Capacity Measurement & Improvement. Previously, he was a product strategist and subject matter expert at SAS Institute and Director of Customer Advocacy at ABC Technologies. He has held financial management positions at Cost Technology, National Semiconductor, Atari, General Instrument and GTE. He earned a BS in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
