To add a new Viewpoint within an existing Issue:

  • Navigate to the specific Issue page of interest.
  • Click on the "Edit This Page" link box in the upper right hand corner.
  • Scroll down so that your cursor is below the last completed Viewpoint.
  • Type a header (use Heading 1 style) for your viewpoint as the next in line chronologically (e.g. Viewpoint "C" comes after Viewpoint "B").
  • Switch to WikiText Editor (Click the down caret next to Save) (Otherwise, you will paste Word's formatting codes into the document)
  • Insert your text/writing (suggested method is to paste in your work from a separate document such as MS Word -- Do not paste bullets from MS Word - it is better to leave them as paragraphs in MS Word then make them bullets after pasting into the wiki).
  • Click the "Save" button.
  • Use style: "Heading 3" from the toolbar for the executive summary heading label.
  • Use sytle: "Heading 1" from the toolbar for the detailed viewpoint writeup label.

To give feedback, ask a question, point out major flaws/opinions within an existing Issue:

  • Navigate to the specific Issue page of interest.
  • Select the "discussion" tab at the the top center of the page.
  • In the "Subject" field, type your subject title.
  • In the "Message" field, type your feedback, question, opinion, observation, etc.
  • Click the "Post" button.

To add a new Recommendation within an existing Issue:

  • Navigate to the specific Issue page of interest.
  • Click on the "Edit This Page" link box in the upper right hand corner.
  • Scroll down so that your cursor is below the last completed Recommendation.
  • Insert your text/writing (suggested method is to paste in your work from a separate document such as MS Word). Use "Normal" style.
  • We suggest Recommendations that are short and to the point (If your content is lengthy, please talk to us in the Discussion tab).
  • Click the "Save" button.

Page Naming Convention

  • No spaces or special characters -- they are converted into "garbage" by the wiki software.

Tips and Tricks:

  • Copying content from the Wiki and pasting that into MS Word will help with putting this content back into the Wiki once you've done your edits.
