Norm Frause

Norm Frause is currently in Business Management supporting Desktop Systems within Boeing’s Computing and Network Operations group. He has been using activity based management methods to achieve a better understanding of cross functional end-to-end cost for services within Computing and Network Operations. Mr. Frause, a graduate of Seattle University, has been involved in the development of process management tools and related Information Technology performance measures for more than fifteen years. In over 40 years at Boeing in the Seattle area, he has been involved in planning and budgeting and has held previous assignments in various Finance management positions including Assistant Controller for general accounting, government accounting and cost policy within the computing division. He has been a Boeing representative to the Consortium of Advanced Management-International, (CAM-I) since, 1995, having been a key member of the CAM-I Service Process Interest Group and 2 year co-chair of the CAM-I Activity Based Planning and Budgeting team. He is co-author of Service Process Measurement - Breaking the Code, and contributing author of The Closed Loop-Implementing Activity Based Planning and Budgeting released through CAM-I. He has spoken to audiences around the country on implementing activity based management practices for information technology and shared services.
